About Mart Heerschap

Mart is an expert in finite element engineering with more than 25 years experience, both in using FE and the development of FE code. In 2001 Mart founded MG technical solutions (MGts), a finite element (FEM/FEA) engineering consultancy firm.

Mart is regularly involved in state of the art consultancy projects using the software packages MSC.NASTRAN, MSC.MARC, MSC.Dytran and Ansys. Mart is active across a broad range of industries, meaning no project is the same and these have included the non-linear analysis of packaging, thermal analysis of heat exchangers, simulation of the residual stresses in a weld and composites. 

In addition to his consultancy work, Mart is a passionate trainer who wants to help those wanting to learn how to do robust FEA studies that lead to solid conclusions that help a project move forward.
